John Craignavie MacLaurin passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, June 10th, 2013. Predeceased by his parents, William D. MacLaurin and Norma Cass. Beloved husband and best friend of Alice Higginson. Dear brother of Ruth Montgomery (Hugh), Margaret Mintha (the late Ken) and Stuart. Sadly missed by his brothers in-law Gordon and his wife Mary Higginson, Richard and his wife Lorraine Higginson and his sister- in-law Jean and her husband Paul Speiran. John will also be fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to sincerely thank the Family Medicine Team OGH and most especially Dr. Kilbertus for their care and compassion during his hospitalization. became a successful home builder and real estate developer. He
led a very active retired life as an avid hiker, table tennis player,
golfer, and world traveller. His life was an inspiration to his children,
grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. He leaves many fond memories.

Ontario from 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 16th. Funeral Service will be held in
the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, March 17, 2001 at

Williamstown officiating. John will be buried at a later date in
St. Andrews United Church Cemetery, Williamstown, Ontario with his wife,
