Joseph Robert Bruce MacMillan began his journey, June 16, 1951 in Cornwall, Ontario, and completed it June 25, 1999 in Calgary, Alberta. The weary soldier has fought his last battle, and leaves behind beautiful memories for his lady, Jen; and special friends, Sarah and Michael. Bob is also survived by his family in Ontario. "The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure." A Celebration of Robert's life will be held at Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre Care West, on Wednesday, June 30, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. In living memory of Robert MacMillan, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES "Park Memorial Chapel", 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W., CALGARY. Beloved husband of 55 years of Anna MacGillivray. Loving father of Bevans (Donna Beer) of Thunder Bay, Margaret Ann (Lyle) MacIntosh of Cumberland, Evelyn (Russell) Westgate of Vankleek Hill, Beth Fitzpatrick of Kemptville, Ian (Andre Turgeon) of Laggan and Earl (Lori Trottier) of Laggan. Cherished Grandpa of Brent, Erin and Audra MacIntosh, Janie and Bradley Westgate, Emily and Colleen Fitzpatrick and Braelyn and Graham MacMaster. Survived by sisters, Mary MacGillivray of Kirkhill and Beatrice MacMillan of Merritt, B.C. Predeceased by his parents, Gregor MacMaster and Isabella Franklin; his brothers, Douglas, Keith, Raymond, Murray and Grant and his sisters, Christine Longmore and Annabel MacMaster. At John's request, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2001 at the funeral home of Munro & Morris, Alexandria. Interment to follow at St. Columbia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kirkhill. At Maxville Manor on Monday, October 16, 2000. Ewen J. MacMillan formerly of Alexandria, in his 90th year. Husband of the late Lucile Creller. Son of the late Duncan Peter MacMillan and the late Mary Jane MacMillan. Survived by his sister-in-law Margaret MacMillan of Kirk Hill and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters, Edna (Mrs. Rod MacCuaig), Mary (Mrs. Neil MacLean), Grace (Mrs. William MacLellan) and his brothers Douglas and Peter MacMillan. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria on Friday, October 20, 2000 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment Alexandria United Church Cemetery. Entered into rest at Maxville Manor on Saturday, March 20, 1999, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur MacMillan. Mother of Gordon and his wife Grace, Mildred and her husband Ewen MacPhee, and Helen and her husband Dougal MacLeod. Lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Connie Kim MacLeod and her great grandson Gordon Allan MacMillan, sisters Gladys Seale, Gertrude Camiot and brothers Albert and Arnold Mahan. Daughter of the late George and Susan (Beck) Mahan. Resting at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street S., Alexandria on Tuesday, March 23rd from 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Glen Sandfield United Church on Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at 1:30 p.m. Spring interment Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery. If so desired donations to the Maxville Manor or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Dear sister of the late Nellie, Alan, Murray and Fred MacMillan and Jane Jackson (Stevenson, McQuaig). She will be missed by her sister Daisy MacKinnon of Brockville, sister-in-law Eliza MacMillan, Aurora, and seven nieces and nephews. Funeral to take place Saturday, January 29, 2000 at Wilson's Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St., Cornwall. Reverend Fred Rennie officiating. Visitation Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to time of funeral service at 2 p.m.

Born December 6, 1901 in Cornwall, Ontario, passed away May 27, 1999 in Victoria, B.C. Marie lived in Montreal before retiring to Victoria in 1964. Lovingly remembered by nieces, Margaret, Lorette, Mearle and Rita McDonnell and families; nephew, Pat and many friends. Marie was active with pastoral visits to the sick and shut-ins for thirty years and was also a member of the C.W.L. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from St. Andrew's Cathedral, Blanshard at View, on Monday, May 31, 1999 at 12:10 p.m. with Monsignor Michael O'Connell celebrating. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1004 North Park St., Victoria, B.C. V8T 1C6.

McMENAMIN, Anthony. Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, Ontario on May 30, 2001, at the age of eighty-two years. Beloved husband of Nancy; dear father of Stephen (Pauline), Brian (Madeleine), and Peter (Carole). Grandfather of Ken and Heather; Patrick; Danny and Laurie-Anne. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Mary (Mrs. J.P. Racicot); his many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Dr. G. Marleau and the nurses in the Active Care Unit of the Glengarry Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion. Resting at Munro and Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, Ontario.
