Bill, passed away peacefully, after a prolonged illness, on July 3, 2002 at Nanaimo Regional Hospital at the age of 94. Mr. Bellis lately of Courtenay, formerly of Mission, B.C. and Yellowknife N.W.T was the son of the late Edward and Hannah,Bellis of Lancaster, ON. He is predeceased by two wives: Josephine Driscoll and Dolores Gala; four sisters: Mabel Macintosh, Alice Bellis, Mary Gougeon and Amy Ley; and one brother, Robert. He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Seguin, of Lancaster, ON; a brother-in-law, Eric Ley of Summerstown, ON; fourteen nieces and twelve nephews, including Keith Se- guin of Courtenay and Dennis Driscoll of Nanoose. Bill enjoyed varying careers during his life time as a merchant mariner, machinist, diamond driller, prospector and contractor. He will be sadly missed by all. The family would like to thank all those who cared for and assisted Bill in recent years, including the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's and Nanaimo Regional Hospitals and in particular, his friends Al and Donna Vix who gave him much help. Funeral arrangements are by Cremation Interment will be at Mission, B.C. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Washington Funeral Chapel, 440 England Ave., Courtenay, on Wed., July 3 1, 2002, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Fund would be appreciated.

Proud and loving father of Stephanie of Los Angeles, California, Thomas of Hamilton and James and Melissa both of North Bay. Predeceased by his daughter Eve and sister Lorraine. Sadly missed by his brothers-inlaw Ron Burnett (Darleen), Philip (Wendy) both of Hamilton and Vince (Medda) of Peterborough.

on Saturday November 27, 1999 at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, died as a result of a tragic car accident. Bill was 47 years old an was born in Belfast, N. Ireland, February 18, 1952. Bill grew up in Cornwall where he attended C.C.V.S. High School and St. Lawrence College. Bill was a cherished Love, Soul mate and Life long companion of Muriel (Lough) Buick. He also leaves his dear children, who adored and loved him dearly. His daughter Kelly Buick and his son Jason Buick (Lori) of Hamilton. Bill, Muriel and family have been residing in the Perth & Smiths Falls Area for the last 12 years. Bill was the beloved son of Joan Buick and the late Stanley Buick of Cornwall. Bill was much loved by his sister Betty Buick-Cameron (Edward) of Lunenburg. He was the dear brother-in-law to Allen Lough of Cornwall, Margaret Lough (Gordon) of Cornwall, Carol and David Wendt of Georgetown, Bernice Lough (Bruce) of Cornwall and Catherine and Rolland Lough-Li of Calgary, and the son-in-law to Howard Lough and the late Margaret (Peggy) Lough. He will be sadly missed by his nieces Brynna Cameron, Raynna Cameron, Courtney Wendt, Carly Wendt and all the many lives he touched. Beloved and devoted husband of Felicia (nee Barton) for 44 years. Loving father of John (deceased), Anthony (Wendy), Marcia, and Joan (Mike). Predeceased by his sister Joan, survived by his brother Dennis. Proud and adoring grandfather of Christopher, Alisa, Chania, Michelle, Kristen, John and Michael. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Adopted into the hearts and lives of countless friends and parishioners. Ordained in Barbados he served several congregations of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and taught at Caribbean Wesleyan College. In Canada, as an ordained minister of the United Church of Canada, he served congregations in Montreal, Bulwer, Candiac/Delson, Quyon, Maxville, Moose Creek and Alexandria. A stalwart and faithful servant of God, Frank bequeathed to all who knew him and of him a legacy of exemplary faith and passionate commitment to the holistic well being of others. Dear mother of William John Merrit (Jack) Bateman (Val) of Edmonton, Peter Reid Turner Bateman (Dianne) of Toronto, Robert Montgomery Bateman (Carolyn) of Charlottetown, P.E.I. and James Porter (Jamie) Bateman (Brenda) of Summerstown. Predeceased by her parents, William Ernest Porter and Anges McGill and by one brother Forrest Porter and one sister Willemina Porter-George. Sadly missed by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the M. Mr. Bobka is survived by his sons Dan (Judy) of Cornwall; and Terry of Virginia Beach, V.A.; daughter Jean Harpur (Greg) of Cornwall; and son in law David Taylor of Ajax. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Teri Lynn, Julie, Michelle, Brent, Bethany, Sarah, Matthew, Malcolm, and Andrew; and five great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Harry and Mina (Rattan) Wilkey. Beloved wife of the late Theodore L. Brown. Devoted and loving mother of Joan (Keith Stanley), Metcalfe, Ontario and Debbie (Dave Dauphinee), Cornwall, Ontario. Predeceased by her much loved son Theodore (Teddy) Brown Jr. and daughter Gayle Brown. Irreplaceable Nanny of Joanne Stanley (Doug Merkley), Tawnya (Jeff Laniel), Ken Stanley (Dianna Jones), Geoff Brown and David, Dianna and Donna Dauphinee. Much loved Great-Nanny to Tyler and Alex Welbergen and Emily and Robbie Laniel. Also special Nanny to Michelle and Natalie Coulson. Survived by her friend and former daughter-in-law, Elva (Paul Coulson), her sister Marjory (Phillip Nesrallah). Predeceased by her dear sisters, Pauline (the late Lionel Howell) and Evelyn Wilkey and her brother Harold Wilkey. At her request there will be no visitation and a private Funeral was held on Thursday, February 15, 2001. Interment in the Spring at Cantley United Cemetery, Cantley, Quebec. Son of the late Alfred Brown and the late Aurora Guay and brother of Gerald and Edmond Brown, both of Ottawa and Kenneth Brown of Chalk River. Predeceased by one brother, Eugene Brown.
