Passed away peacefully at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria, on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Mary Ann O’Connor (nee MacDonald) of Alexandria; age 84 years. Beloved wife of Archie O’Connor. Proud mother of Marlene Samson (Rene Lefebvre (late Serge Samson)), Colleen Koronewski (Terry), Bernadine “Bernie” Duval (Mike), Joanne Danaher (Brian “BJ”), Debbie Milne (Jeff) and Danny O’Connor. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Dan H. MacDonald and Hattie McDougall and her one brother Vincent MacDonald. Deeply missed by her extended family: Kathleen Wall (Peter), Ethel Salter (Tony) and Brenda Henderson. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613) 525-2772 on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria, on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in the Parish Cemetery. ORR, Gregory Robert
Greg Orr, 53, of Stouffville, Ontario on Friday, April
20, 2001 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, after a three year war with
multiple myeloma during which he bravely fought many battles. Orr began
his career in the car business as a mechanic with Bob Bateman in
Cornwall, Ontario and finished it with Mazda Canada in Toronto as a customer
relations manager. He was a pilot and a motor cyclist, an animal
lover and a man who could fix almost anything. Born in Niagara Falls,
Ontario and a longtime resident of Cornwall, Toronto and
Stouffville, he was predeceased by his father, James, and his mother
Leona. He is survived by his partner Barbara Righton and her family Mrs.
Ruth Righton and Mrs. Norman Mason of Cornwall; his beloved dog, Vista; and
his immaculate FJ 1200. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral
Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall (613) 938-3888 on Tuesday, April 24, 2001
from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 12-2 p.m. A service will be
held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at 2:00
p.m. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery,
Ingleside. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Greg's name to a
charity of your choice. And raise a glass to mark his passing.

Burlington, Ontario on January 29, 2000. Ethel O'Reilly
McDonald formerly of Montreal and Dorval, Quebec. Beloved wife of the
late John O'Reilly and the late Cameron McDonald. Loved mother of
Marilyn Johnston of Oakville and her companion Willard Price,
and Brian O'Reilly and his wife Sheila of Kelowna, B.C. Cherished
grandchildren of Greg, Jonathan and Andrew Johnston and
Lorraine and Danny O'Reilly. Dear sister-in-law of Betty Welcher of
Calgary and Margaret Welcher of Ottawa. Predeceased by her brothers
George, Lorne, Russell, and sisters, Myrtle and Florence.
Ethel will be sadly missed by her many nieces and her nephew and by her
grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation at Smith's Funeral
Home, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall),
Burlington (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, February 1 from 3 p.m. until time
of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. Cremation. If desired, expressions
of sympathy to the Alzheimer Society of Halton-Wentworth would be
sincerely appreciated by the family.
