RENAUD, Marlene - Passed away at Sandfield Place on Tuesday April 23, 2013. Marlene Joan (Laperle) Renaud of Cornwall; age 79 years. Beloved wife of Denis Renaud for 58 years. Cherished mother of Denise McDonald (Michael) of Iroquois, ON, Robert Renaud (Frances) of Long Sault, Joanne Honas (Michael) of Cape Coral, FL, Stephen Renaud (Mai-Liis) of Cornwall, and David Renaud (Michelle) of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Angeline, Christine, Caroline and Jonathan McDonald, Julie and Robert Renaud Jr., Jennifer and Sarah Leroux, Kristian, Katrina, Kristofer, Dakota, Zachary and Keagan Renaud, and 16 great- grandchildren. Marlene will be sadly missed by sister Joyce Ladouceur (Roger) and brothers Gerald Laperle (Cecile) and Al Laperle. Survived by sisters-in-law Fleurette Renaud, and Francoise Renaud. Daughter of the late Alfred Laperle and the late Louise (Laker) Laperle. Predeceased by 1 grandson Matthew Renaud and 1 sister Shirley Paquin. at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall on February 24,
2002 at the age of eighty-three years. Loving mother of Diane
(Bruce) and Gerry (Suzie). Beloved grandmother of Lee, Carl,
and Caroline. Dearest sister of Raymond (Theresa) and
Marion (Norm) and the late Alex (Stella) and the late
Edward (Jennie). She will be greatly missed by her special friend
Rachel and numerous other family and friends. Friends and

Beloved husband of Marjet. Cherished father of Christina,
Julie and Noah Bohnen, Susan and Stephen. Dearest son
of Mrs. Masie Rogers and the late John Garwood Rogers.
Predeceased by his brother Ross. John was a dedicated
and well respected member of the Lancaster area,
devoting much of his time to community projects such as
the Lancaster Boy Scouts, community garage sales and
the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Relatives and

Alma Elizabeth Reid
Tuesday, July 27, 1999 Alma Elizabeth Reid, R.N., B.A., LL.D., DUC, LD.
1904-1999 Professor Emeritus and former Director of the McMaster
School of Nursing. After a distinguished career and well earned
retirement, Alma passed away July 20, 1999, at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Hamilton. Alma was born in Leeds, Megantic County,
Quebec, daughter of John Charles and Elizabeth Mary Reid
(Thompson). She was predeceased by sisters Janet Brain, Helen
Macfarlane, Florence Kellam, and brother Charles. Alma is fondly
remembered by seven nieces and nephews and their families and a
brother-in-law and sister-in-law. A private family service was held July 26, 1999, in Huntingdon, Quebec with interment of her ashes in the family plot in Huntingdon per her wishes. In appreciation of her life, a donation could be made to the Alma Reid Fund at McMaster University. Alma's teaching, nursing and
administration career spanned a broad area: Montreal, Cornwall and
Toronto General Hospitals, University of Toronto, Yale
University and McMaster University. She was devoted to her family and
the advancement of her profession which she actively
contributed to. In 1965, Alma received a Commonwealth Prestige
Fellowship to study and submit a report on nursing education in New
Zealand. She served as President of the fledging Registered
Nurses Association. In retirement, Alma helped to reestablish
the nursing program at Laurentian University, and continued to
serve on the boards of the Victorian Order of Nurses of Canada and
the Canadian Red Cross. Plans are underway at McMaster for
a public celebration of A.E. Reid's life.

Todd and Wendy (nee Norman) welcome with love
their first child Ethan Lloyd Rozon. Lloyd was born
on August 15, 2000 at 5:25 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 15
oz. Lloyd is the proud grandson of Joan and Orm
Tye of Nepean, Peter and Meredith Norman of
Kanata, Wendy and Les Wert of Williamstown, and
Shannon and the late Lloyd Rozon of South
Lancaster. Happy great-grandparents are Edna
Ross of Winchester, Rene and Pearl Rozon of
Williamstown, and Tibi and the late Lloyd McRae of
Lancaster. Baby Lloyd is named in memory of two
very special people, his late grandfather and
great-grandfather. Special thanks to the caring staff
at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, especially Val, Murray
and Tanis.

nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Nellie
(Upton) Wallace; brothers Russell and Stuart Wallace; and her sister
