Survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Erna Andersen (nee Rieter) and his sister Betty Sorensen (Denmark). Predeceased by his parents, Peter Andersen and Olga Rasa. Friends may call at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Monday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Monday, October 29, 2001 for service in Salem United Church, Summerstown at 2 p.m. Rev. Gary Stokes officiating. Committal to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the CanadianDiabetes Association appreciated.

ASHIE, Marjorie A.
Died peacefully Monday, February 23, 1998 at her residence, Belmont House, Toronto. Marjorie received a certificate of Public Health Nursing from Western University. She served as a diligent VON and Public Health Nurse in Montreal and Toronto. Marjorie was devoted to her career and service to others. Later she served as the Director of Volunteer Services, Toronto Branch of the Canadian Red Cross Society until her retirement. Marjorie was honored by her colleagues for her faithful 30 years of service. She had a strong attachment to her church and was a long time member of Christ Church Deer Park. Marjorie was blessed with a wonderful friend, Miss Mary Bliss who mourns her passing. Marjorie is survived by her only sister Mrs. Vernon (Dorothy) Hill and her nephew David Hill both of Cornwall, Ontario and her two nieces Carol Dawson of St. Catharines and Elizabeth Edwards of Halifax. She was predeceased by her father Sanford and her mother Florence and her older brother George. A celebration of Marjories´ life will be held in Toronto in the Chapel of the MORLEY BEDFORD FUNERAL HOME, 159 Eglinton Ave. West (at Lascelles Blvd.) on Thursday at 1 p.m. Her final memorial will be held at Christ Church in Long Sault, Ontario on Friday, February 27. Spring interment at St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Dear Son of the late George Anderson and the late Bianca Sebasti of Rome Italy. Beloved Brother of Chiara Mongiardini of Italy, Francesco Anderson (Maria) of Italy, Andrew Anderson (Judy) of Kanata, and John Anderson (Velia) of India. He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 9th. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home, 428 Second St. E., Cornwall. Dearest mother of Adrien (Dini) and Georgette Riddell (Rick) both of Rockland, Marion Andre (Harold Blount) of Ottawa, Gerald (Susan) of Stittsville, Jeannine Leroux of South Lancaster, Gerard (Francine Chretien) of Cornwall, Monique Folsom (Wayne) of Long Sault, Maurice (Sandra) of Crivitz, Wisconsin, Lorrie Anne Lynch (Gregg) of Lancaster, Meg Lalonde (Mike) of Alexandria and Linda Andre (Lorne McLean) of South Lancaster. She will be sadly missed by her eighteen grandchildren. Also survived by five sisters, Evelyn Baker, Rosalie Pratt, Alma Gibbard, Catherine Rattray and Anita Lemieux. Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, Oak Street, Lancaster (613-347-3629) from 2 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2001. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Lancaster, on Saturday, February 17, 2001 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment, Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family will be in attendance on Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 10 p.m.

All are invited to a celebration of Katharine's life which will be held on Friday, September 24 in the chapel of the McArthur Bros. and MacNeil Funeral Home and Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall, at 2 p.m. Rev.
